About the project

Shot in Dallas, Chevy Girl is a personal editorial created in celebration of my friend Emily’s graduation. More than just grad photos, the shoot pays homage to lowrider culture and Emily’s heritage — a visual tribute built around pride, style, and legacy. With a pristine 1978 Coupe DeVille lent to us by Cadillac Mike, the scene came together with a nostalgic yet confident tone.

I handled photography, lighting, and editing, while Cordell assisted on set to help bring the lighting to life. What started as a personal request evolved into one of my favorite explorations of culture and identity through image-making.
